Brown corundum is made of high-quality abrasive-grade alumina as raw material, supplemented with auxiliary materials, and refined in an electric arc furnace at a high temperature above 2250°C. On this basis, it is refined twice and then passed through a high-intensity magnetic separator to remove impurities. The refractory degree is above 1850°C.
The RS brown corundum produced by our company has the characteristics of high purity, good crystallization, strong fluidity, low linear expansion coefficient and corrosion resistance. This product has the characteristics of no explosion, no powdering, and no cracking during application. It is often used in abrasives and refractory raw material industries.
The smelting methods of brown corundum can be divided into: dumping furnace and fixed furnace.
The main products are: brown corundum Barmac sand, counter-roller sand, ball milling sand, section sand, P sand, fine powder, and micro powder.
Special treatment products include: high temperature calcined brown corundum, medium temperature calcined brown corundum, water washing, pickling, dry cleaning (air washing).
Application scope
Abrasives: grinding wheels, abrasive belts, sandpaper, emery cloth, cutting discs, sandblasting technology, grinding, wear-resistant flooring, waterjet cutting, coated abrasives, bonded abrasives, etc.
Refractory materials: castables, refractory bricks, ramming materials, slide plates, nozzles, ladles, furnace linings, precision castings, etc.
