Brown corundum is brown, made of bauxite and coke ( anthracite ) as main raw materials smelted at 2300℃ in a dumping furnace. Its main chemical components are Al2O3 and TiO2,and it also contains a small amount of SiO2 and Fe2O3 etc. Microhardness is HV 1800-2200. It is suitable for grinding metals with high tensile strength, such as various universal steel, wrought iron and hard bronze etc. It also can be used to make advanced refractory materials. Yue Abrasives brown corundum has characteristics of high purity, good crystallization, corrosion resistance, no explosion and no cracking etc. The fire resistance temperature reaches to over 1900℃.
