Brown Fused Alumina (BFA), also known as Brown Fused Alumina or BFA

Brown Fused Alumina (BFA), also known as Brown Fused Alumina or BFA, is made of superior calcined bauxite, mixed with ferric chippings and coal as per suitable rates, melting at super high temperature conditions approximately 2250℃ through electric arc furnace processing.

Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide has a high bulk density and high hardness making it the perfect medium for removing rust, mill scale, and surface contamination. The consistent particle size allows for a uniform surface finish and coverage.

Product types: F-Grits, P-Grits, Fine powder, Micro powder

Processing Methods: Roller /Barmac

Grain shapes: Angular/ Cubic

Brown fused Alumina is mainly used as a recyclable abrasive in blast cabinets and blast rooms. Because of its low iron content, alumina is often used in blasting operations where iron contamination on the non-ferrous metal substrate is not allowed. Aluminum oxide is a very hard and sharp abrasive that cleans rapidly. It leaves an anchor profile before coating and is suitable for the removal of scale, rust, and old coatings. Furthermore, it is used for ceramic grinding wheels, refractory applications, and polishing and grinding.
