Japan refractory production data and reason analysis

From January to September 2022, the total output of refractory materials in Japan is 621,600 tons, of which the output of shaped refractory products is 188,600 tons, and the output of amorphous refractory materials is 43.300 tons, and the ratio of shaped refractory products to amorphous refractory production is about 2:5. As can be seen from the figure above, Japan's refractory production shows the following characteristics: 1, the production of refractory materials in Japan basically remained stable, the monthly output was basically stable between 60,000 and 80,000 tons, and the average monthly output from January to September was 69,100 tons. It shows that the production rhythm of Japanese refractory enterprises is well controlled, and the market demand is basically stable; 2, the output of amorphous refractories is more than 2 times that of shaped refractories, and the output of amorphous refractories from January to September is 2.3 times that of shaped refractories. It shows that Japanese refractory enterprises prefer more environmentally friendly amorphous refractories, which is the result of many factors; 3, in the output of January to September, whether shaped refractory products, amorphous refractory or refractory total output, there was a peak in March to April, but the amount of other months is not large. This indicates that although the production control of Japanese refractory enterprises has a certain flexibility, it is basically within the annual general plan.
