What is white corundum frit

Whether it is white corundum or white corundum micro-powder, I believe that many people know more or less about it, but many people do not know much about white corundum frit, corundum frit is not as simple as the general white corundum sand, but is composed of several parts, today I will introduce the structural characteristics of white corundum frit:

1, white corundum frit upper layer: also called cap, divided into upper and lower two parts, the upper structure is tight and strong, there are porous flake crystals, the lower layer has cylindrical holes of fine crystal.

2, white corundum frit core: the structure of the core is also tight and strong, and the porosity is large. It should be noted that the core of the white corundum frit has many glassy crystals with holes and different shapes, and the main composition of the crystals is β-Al2O3.

3. The middle and lower part of white corundum frit: the crystal shape of the middle and lower part is thick, but the structure is still tight, and the color is white and good.

4. White corundum frit edge: the crystals in the middle and lower part are not as tight as the upper two layers, slightly loose, and the crystals are mostly columnar or granular, with pores and microcrystalline crystals at the edge.

The presence of β-Al2O3 in the white corundum frit is mainly biased to the core, sometimes accompanied by the presence of dark spots, but it can also be converted into α-Al2O3 after treatment, which does not affect the use.
