Manufacturing Process (生产工艺)
Brown Fused Alumina is produced by fusing high-quality bauxite in the electric-arc furnace at a high temperature of above 2250°C. The raw material and carbon material are matched and fused together in the electric-arc furnace. The furnace is maintained at a high temperature of above 2250°C to fuse the raw materials and create the desired BFA properties. The resulting product is then crushed, ground, and sorted by size and grade.
Applications in the Refractory Industry (应用于耐火材料行业)
a) Refractory Castables and Rammers
Refractory castables made from BFA are used to line furnace walls and roofs in various industries, including the metallurgical, chemical, and petroleum industries. These castables are highly resistant to high temperatures and provide excellent protection against corrosion.
BFA ramming mass is also used in the refractory industry. It is made by mixing BFA powder with a binder and applying it to the surface of a refractory material. This mass is then compressed to form a solid mass that can be used to reinforce refractory materials.
b) Corundum Insulation Materials
BFA is used to produce corundum lightweight bricks, which are used to line furnace walls and roofs in high-temperature furnaces. These bricks are resistant to high temperatures and provide excellent insulation properties.
BFA is also used to produce corundum bubble alumina bricks, which are used to insulate the inside of furnaces. These bricks are highly resistant to high temperatures and provide excellent insulation properties.
BFA is used to produce fiber products, which are used to reinforce refractory materials and provide additional insulation properties.

a) Ceramic Pipe
BFA ceramic pipe is used in the ceramics industry to produce pipe and special-shaped parts. These pipes and parts have excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature stability.
b) Electric Ceramic Coated Parts
BFA is used to produce electric ceramic coated parts in the ceramics industry. These coated parts have excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature stability.
