China's amorphous refractory technology has developed rapidly, the level of research and application has been continuously improved, and its performance can basically meet the needs of domestic high-temperature industry. However, with the rapid development of high temperature industry, especially the state's energy saving requirements for high temperature industry, the energy saving of amorphous refractories is still an important and arduous task.
In the context of no bright spot in domestic demand, export has become the main growth point of refractory materials, the total export trade in 2021 reached 4.5 billion US dollars, an increase of 54%, and the first three quarters of last year rose 33%, which is not only due to international sanctions against Russia, but also reflects the continuous improvement of domestic players' independent alternative ability. The international competitiveness has been steadily improved.
China is a large consumer of refractory materials, refractory consumption accounts for about 60% of the total global consumption, is still the leading market for refractory materials.
