What Should Be Paid Attention To When White Corundum Is Used As Acid And Alkali Resistant Castabletant Castable

There are many kinds of castables, but corundum castables are more popular, such as white corundum castables, brown corundum castables, etc. White corundum sand has a common performance, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability and acid and alkali corrosion resistance. Therefore, white corundum is widely used in refractories, one of which is castable. When it comes to castable, many people may not know it very well. It is mainly used for lining materials of various kilns. Next, we will briefly introduce some precautions in the use of white corundum castable:
1. The temperature of the mixing water shall be appropriate. It shall not be higher than 25 ℃ in summer, and the water temperature in winter shall be kept between 30 ℃ and 50 ℃;
2. It shall not be exposed to the sun during use, and shall be sunshaded;
3. The place of use can be in a covered workshop, etc.
The above three conditions are to avoid the impact of temperature on the performance of white corundum castable, mainly because too high or too low temperature has a great impact on the acid and alkali resistance of white corundum castable, so we must pay attention to it in use or construction!
