1. Broken arc

Solution: check before starting arc; After the furnace condition is more stable, the carbon rod is extracted. Pay attention to the feeding speed; Move the electrode frequently when the series furnace; Rearc.
Second, string furnace
Features: The molten liquid flows rapidly back and forth in the solid powder, stirring up a large amount of aluminum oxide powder, sometimes causing arc break, generally occurring within 10h after the furnace is opened.
Causes: the side of the material layer is thick, the furnace bottom melting surface is small, the feeding is uneven, resulting in uneven heating, a part of the molten liquid and the furnace wall contact or the furnace pressure is large, the molten liquid and a large number of cold material into.
Solution: in the first few hours, lower voltage is used to expand the melting surface and increase the liquid volume; If serious, break the hard block, level the charge, and thoroughly deal with it.
Three, shooting
Features: Sudden roar in the furnace, ejected a lot of hot gas, fire, no furnace lining, the furnace shell at the blasting site red, serious cause furnace leakage.
Causes: furnace bottom, furnace lining wet, wet raw materials, external water immersion, material layer is too thick, improper operation, resulting in excessive pressure in the furnace.
Solution: prevent the bottom of the furnace wet; Control raw material moisture; Strengthen operation to ensure uniform material layer; Increase the cooling water quantity without lining furnace; Timely treatment, break the coagulate, level the charge;
Four, "picking furnace lining"
Features: molten liquid and furnace lining reaction, molten liquid billow jump over the material layer, serious, charging is difficult to press, and even furnace leakage accident.
Causes: improper operation, uneven feeding or discomfort, the material layer outside the electrode is too thin, the electrode is too close to the furnace wall, the voltage is too low.
Solution: Add white corundum waste material on the outside of the electrode, particle size 20-40mm; Adjust voltage or electrode distance; Reduce the current, reduce the input power, increase the cooling water; Stop furnace treatment if necessary.
