Type and use of castable?
Castable is a refractory material, mainly used to provide protection and support in high temperature environments. The following are the types and uses of castables:
1. Corundum castable: Corundum as the main raw material, adding an appropriate amount of binder made. Mainly used in high temperature furnace, high temperature pipeline, blast furnace lining and other high temperature equipment.
2. Silicon carbide castable: silicon carbide as the main raw material, adding an appropriate amount of binder made. Mainly used in the manufacture of silicon carbide products, wear parts, high temperature furnace and other high temperature equipment.
3. Wear-resistant castable: made with wear-resistant aggregate as the main raw material and adding appropriate amount of binder. Mainly used in high temperature wear-resistant equipment, such as cement kilns, coal-fired boilers and so on.
4. High aluminum castable: made with high aluminum as the main raw material and adding an appropriate amount of binder. Mainly used in high temperature furnace, high temperature pipeline and other high temperature equipment.
5. Heat insulation castable: with refractory fiber as the main raw material, adding an appropriate amount of binder made. It is mainly used for high temperature heat insulation equipment, such as the top and furnace wall of high temperature kiln.
6. Acid-resistant castable: siliceous material as the main raw material, adding an appropriate amount of binder made. It is mainly used in the manufacture of acid-resistant equipment, such as high-temperature pipes and reactors in sulfuric acid plants.
7. Alkali resistant castable: low cement castable or phosphate castable as the main raw material, adding an appropriate amount of binder made. It is mainly used in the manufacture of alkali-resistant equipment, such as high-temperature pipelines and reactors in chemical plants.
In short, castables have excellent high temperature properties, corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, and are widely used in equipment manufacturing and maintenance in various high temperature environments.
