Main Performance Index Of Kiln
The main performance of the kiln is mainly determined by the technical and economic performance of the refractory insulation material, which directly affects the investment cost, working performance, thermal efficiency, and energy consumption costs of operation of the kiln. General principles for selecting refractory insulation materials:
1, kiln performance and thermal characteristics. For example, the kiln with gap work should choose materials with low heat capacity
2, the safe use of the material temperature, thermal conductivity system, high temperature strength, chemical stability
3, the service life
4. Investment cost and operation maintenance cost
In general, heavy refractories focus on a certain technical performance index, such as high temperature stability, chemical stability, etc. Lightweight insulation materials pay more attention to the comprehensive technical and economic indicators of investment and operation.
When selecting a light insulation material, the thermal conductivity (λ) of the insulation material and the cost per unit volume of the insulation material (lambda) are generally used to determine, the smaller the product value of "lambda lambda", the better. The small value of thermal conductivity indicates that the thermal insulation effect of the thermal insulation material is good and the energy cost is low during operation. The low cost per unit volume of insulation material indicates that the investment cost is low and has a good investment economic effect. The curves of the materials (λ RHO) can be captured using the safe service temperature (RHO) of the materials, and the technically and economically good materials can be selected by means of a coordinate diagram, where the abscissa is the operating temperature and the ordinate is the product of (λ RHO).
