Mullite Insulation Brick

Mullite insulation brick has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance to various atmospheres, low thermal conductivity, low hot melt, high strength and good thermal shock resistance. The use temperature can reach 1350℃~1700℃, can directly contact the flame.

Mullite brick is a high alumina refractory with mullite as the main crystalline phase, the general alumina content is between 65% and 75%, and the mineral composition in addition to mullite, which contains low alumina also contains a small amount of glass phase and cristobalite; Higher alumina content also contains a small amount of corundum. Mullite bricks are generally sintered mullite bricks and fused mullite bricks, and mullite poly bricks are sintered bricks.

Mullite poly brick, also known as light mullite brick, is made of mullite as the main raw material and poly ball sintering. It has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance to various atmospheres, low thermal conductivity, low hot melt, high strength and good thermal shock resistance. The use temperature can reach 1350℃~1700℃, can directly contact the flame.

Mainly used in ceramic roller kiln, shuttle kiln, cracking furnace, hot blast furnace and all kinds of electric furnace lining, furnace door brick, kiln car brick.

Characteristics of Mullite insulation brick:

◎ Low thermal conductivity: has a good heat insulation effect, can make the thickness of the furnace wall thin.
◎ Low heat capacity: Due to its light weight and low thermal conductivity, the lightweight mullite brick series stores very little heat energy, and the energy saving effect is obvious in intermittent operation kilns.
◎ Low impurity content: very low iron and alkali metal molten content, so high refractoriness. The high aluminum content makes it maintain good performance in reducing atmosphere.
◎ High thermal compressive strength.
◎ Appearance Dimension: speed up the masonry speed, thin and consistent brick seams. Ensure high strength and stability of masonry body.
◎ Can be processed into special shape to reduce the number of blocks and joints.
