Ferro-silico-manganese
Ferromanganese silicon is a toxic metal. In the smelting process, ferromanganese silicon emits a large amount of high temperature dust containing gas. The main components of the dust are MnO and SiO2, and the particle size of the dust is mostly less than 5um. This kind of dust-containing gas with fine particle size is very harmful to indoor and outdoor environment and human health. It also affects the atmospheric environment around ferroalloy and the physical and mental health of workers.
Ferromanganese silicon is a kind of manganese silicon alloy, which contains about 20% silicon and more than 60% manganese. According to YB67-65, mainly according to the different carbon content and manganese silicon 23, manganese silicon 20, manganese silicon 17, manganese silicon 14, manganese silicon 12 and other six grades, is a composite deoxidizer used in steelmaking. When it is used to deoxidize, the silicate inclusion produced has a lower melting point than manganese oxide and silicon oxide, and is easy to gather and float, so the non-metallic inclusion in steel is less.
Ferromanganese silicon is an alloy of silicon, manganese and iron obtained from the reduction of silicon ore and manganese ore. The silicon content of silicon ferromanganese is 10% to 37%, the manganese content is 57% to 80%, and the iron contained in silicon ferromanganese is a variable.
Bulk ferromanganese silicon is a light gray alloy whose metallic luster increases with the increase of silicon composition. Ferromanganese silicon is broken into chunks after pouring, and chunks of ferromanganese silicon can also be pig iron chunks (large ingots) or small ingots. Ferromanganese silicon after crushing, grinding and screening, there will be several levels of particle size. The block size (block size) is determined by the crushing of ferrosilico-manganese through square mesh screens of different standard sizes.
